SAFE, through Christian Philip Unmack, was invited to the EIFAAC Symposium held on 7.-11. October in Pula, Croatia to be part of a panel discussion. The topic was: Future of European Freshwater Aquaculture with moderators Jurica Jug-Dujaković & Béla Urbányi.

Christian attended the panel together with Daniel Żarski, Board member of the European Aquaculture Society (EAS), Andrea Fabris, Chairman of the Fish Health & Welfare Commission at FEAP, and David Basset, General Secretary of European Aquaculture Technology and Innovation Platform (EATIP).

The SAFE project was mentioned given its focus on Freshwater aquaculture and its focus on the circular economy that can be included in this industry.
