SAFE presented at the conference “Baltic States – Challenges for Inland Aquaculture” organised by Institute of Food Safety, Animal Health and Environment “BIOR” and Eurofish International Organisation, where Piotr Eljasik presented some of the SAFE (SmartAqua4FuturE) project outcomes. In the session on “Aquaculture for human health and environment quality” Piotr presented SAFE solutions to utilise side streams from common carp aquaculture, including re-use of pond sediments for oyster mushroom production, as well as side production of watercress in ponds.
