With the help of ICR’s electric car ZUT and ICR managed to set up an experimental trial that aim to assess to what extent straw bricks infiltrated with sediments will trigger primary and secondary production in common carp fry ponds. Higher trophic level organisms (zooplankton and benthic organisms) presence and water quality parameters will be assessed monthly. This is a next step of the valorisation of liquid and sold waste streams that have been sequestrated (Technology #1) during pond draining last winter.
